We visited the Azores in November and from the moment we stepped off our flight we were awestruck with the beauty of The Azores!
Both the people and the landscape are so beautiful...reminding us so much of our home province! If any of you ever have the chance to visit any of these nine islands make sure you try the local cuisine especially the Cozido day Furnas, a stew cooked underground with the natural volcanic heat! Again this stew had a lot in common with our own Newfoundland Jiggs Dinner!
As always we had the time of our lives!
