This week we received our Downhome (Sept 2022) issue and on pg 12 "Correction" spoke re the Welcome/Farewell ship, and Burton Janes said it was just outside Port-aux-Basques. He is absolutely correct. I was born and raised just south of Port-aux-Basques and we would see the ship each time we left the area or returned. I just wanted to add that the name on the vessel was "Annie Coady." I'm not certain if this was a true name or invented but I thought you may like to know that little piece of info. Thanks.
