I'd like to weigh in on the touton discussion.I grew up in Corner Brook (Mother from Trout River,Father from Port Rexton) and only knew them as flap jacks.However,when I went to my late husbands home of Gambo,they called them frozies His family came from Burnt Island.<br /> I recently subscribed to Downhome and look forward to receiving it each month and learning things I never knew before about this beautiful province I'm fortunate enough to call home.
