Catch of the Day (5782 views) Taking part in the annual food fishery does not always yield such good results, so Sunday July 22, 2012 proved to be an exception. While visiting Sandy Cove, NL on the Eastport Peninsula, 10-year-old Keira Hancock from St. John's, NL got to hold the catch of the day. The codfish, estimated to weigh approximately 25 lbs, was the topic of conversation for the rest of the day.
