Polar Bear? (1778 views) I was driving past the Cape (Bonavista) and saw in my rear view mirror this ice that resembled a polar bear! I got out, took a few shots and within minutes the wind had taken my sculpture and whisked it away leaving me with this amazing photo!
This picture was taken during a small hike I took on May 4th, 2013. I climbed up into the hills behind Petty Harbour knowing that the view would be spectacular - but did not expect such a pristine sight. The houses look like toys from that height and it truly makes one appreciate the beauty that our province has to offer.
