It was his first time using a rod and reel. We didn't believe him when he said he had a fish on, until we saw the top of the reel was bent. After a 20 minute battle with this monster, we (Mom and Pop helped) managed to land him. He weighed in at 30 lbs. and was caught on a 10 pound test line. Not bad for an eight-year- old! ...
