This is one of the six tuna we caught in September 2011. It weighed out at 748 lbs. dressed. This tuna was caught of the South Coast of Newfoundland. This was my first time tuna fishing and it was the biggest fishing rush of my life.

My daughter got so excited she started jumping up and down, "Let's go Momma! Let's go!" When we finally reached our desired fishing spot, we put out our lines and of course she had to help! So going back and forth between my friend and me on the gunnels and having no fear, she couldn't stay still in the boat. Many times we had to grab her life vest to stop her from going overboard because she was that excited to see the fish at the end of the line coming out of the water. So between all the hustle and bustle in the boat and giving all of us a fright here and there, we did manage to haul in a good one!! She was overjoyed and it shows in her smile!! ...
