Explore the beauty of Mother Nature’s amusement park
Part of Newfoundland and Labrador’s charm is its natural, unspoiled beauty. Our rivers, ponds and bays provide us with fun fishing expeditions, while our vast wilderness is a hiker’s dream. Even our long winters provide endless hours of fun spent sliding, snowmobiling, skating, snowshoeing and much more. Have a look through these outdoor activity shots, to see how our readers enjoy down-home living, outside.
A Cow and calf out in the open for a stroll. Spotted on Boggans Lane and headed up to Millers Road, Topsail. Pictures taken around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9/2010 by Tom Boggan.
Republic
Republic is a bold stand-out from other wines, uniting the sharp flavour of
rhubarb with the refreshing taste of plump, juicy raspberries. The result is
a crisp, fruity wine with an undercurrent of sweetness. Blended with pure
iceberg water, together these three elements reflect the pink, white and
green of the Newfoundland Republic flag.
Serve Republic ice-cold on its own, or in a glass with ice and sparkling
water for a delicious spritzer that makes wine coolers taste lame by
comparison. Or use it to make pitchers of sangria at your next party.

Numbers 13, 14, 15 and 16 were the girls; the 12 boys were first and I'm the seventh son. THAT'S a story in itself! ... Hide full submission
