During my last trip home to Newfoundland, we were sitting on the deck in Embree (outside of Lewisporte) when the dark sky crept up on us quickly. It blew over as fast as it came, but it was just beautiful to see.

Across the St. John's Harbour

I needed something creative for my website so I set the shutter speed on my camera as low as I could, zoomed in, snapped the photo and zoomed back slowly as the camera captured the shot. It was a nice surprise!
