I am viewing your RV 2009 summer travels.This picture reminds me when i was a teenager.My dad and mom every Sunday would take us to Botwood after sunday school for a sunday after noon ride.Me and my three brothers.We lived in Grand Falls.My dad also taught me how to drive in Botwood,on the old air base,back in 1959.I still remember those good old days, with my mom and dad and my three little brothers. Charlie,Rocky and ROY.I love your magazine down home,because it takes me back to my Newfoundland memories.Thank you Ron and Lila for all the nice pictures you take of your travels in Newfoundland each summer.You make it feel like we are there right along with you.!!! Flippers Last Stop in Northern Arm advertises "Everything from a baby's fart to a clap of thunder." Baby Farts cost $1 and Claps of Thunder cost $2. All money goes toward buying a new and much-needed fire truck for the small community near Botwood.
