Cuddle Inn with Country Music
Well-known Newfoundland singer and songwriter entertains guests at Cuddle Inn Bed and Breakfast in Glovertown with his music and songs.
Hi Ron and Lila,
This picture reminds me of A Frank Willis. When A Frank Willis played in a Newfie bar here in Toronto i worked in that bar as a waitress.I was lucky enought to listen to him play his music every night. He even played music with his feet.Everyone loved him.One night i asked a few friends that i worked with home for a few drinks.I asked A Frank if he wanted to join us,he said yes sure and came on over with us for awhile. Now when i read about him in the Downhome and see pictures of him,i feel proud that i can say that A Frank Willis came to my house to one of my parties back in 1991.We often wonderd where A Frank went when he left the York Town Tavern.Ron, when you see him ask him if he remembers Ruby the waitress and her friend Debbie.Debbie was the manager of another resturant where i also worked as a waitress in the day time. That was called The Rustic Inn at Jane and Finch Mall. Both those two places are gone now.The York Town Newfie club is now a car wash, tell Frank.Tell him we all still miss him. Ruby Palmer Toronto,Ontario.
Funky Puffin
A blend of Newfoundland and Labrador blueberries with rhubarb creates this medium sweet wine that is fun, delightful and well balanced. It is a great sipping wine and goes well with cheese and crackers. Serve chilled.
