This kitchen cabinet was built 75 years ago for Annie Tee, of Burnt Cove, by her husband, William Tee, when they moved in to their house. Her son, Chris, and my sister, Diane, now live there and continue to get great use of the cabinet.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some help. I found an old ashtay or something. It's old and solid brass; the front side has a face of a fisherman wearing a sou'wester with a pipe in his mouth and also has "Newfoundland" on the right side. On the back it says "White Hills FDY, St. John's, NFLD." I can't find anything on the internet about it.

Here is a clothespin that we received from our relative, that we have never seen before. Have you or your readers seen one of these in captivity before?

A picture of a tool seen in a work shed behind the old hospital in Fogo. Showing it in my hand gives a better idea of its size. I have half an idea what it was used for, but don't know what it was called.
