My son Matthew with a nice walleye caught at Last Mountain Lake, Saskatchewan.
This big catch of the day was caught by 11-year-old Hannah Letto-Etheridge. Weighing in at approximately 15 lbs and 72 cm-long, it was caught on L'Anse au Clair Bank, August 12, 2011 in the food fishery. The photo was taken by Norman Letto , Hannah's pop.
This is a picture of my dad, Donald Purchase, with a halibut he caught on his trawl. He fishes by himself. It was a task for him to get this 150-pounder on board.

On our recent visit to Newfoundland my husband Ron tried cod fishing for the first time ever. Talk about beginner's luck! First line in this is what he caught. Nice catch!
