Big Fish Caught Off Sleepy Cove, Twillingate
My daughter Nancy from Gander caught this big fish on her birthday, July 29, 2011. It weighed almost 30 lbs. and it was 42 inches long. She was some excited when she got it aboard the boat. Good catch!
The chopper was coming in over the hills at the Woodward Lodge so I rushed down to have one last flick. This 26.5 lbs monster took my orange bug like a savage and gave me an experience of a lifetime.
