Porte St. Louis
To celebrate Newfoundlands 25th anniversary into Confederation, two Naval Reserve vessels, Porte St. Louis and Porte St. Jean visited ports in Newfoundland and Labrador in 1974. This picture was taken at dusk from Porte St. Jean of Porte St. Louis at anchor near Roddickton, NL.
This photo of HMCS Cabots patrol vessel Standoff was taken in Freshwater Bay, just outside St. John's Harbour around 1997 just before retirement from service. Standoff was previously owned by the RCMP and was stationed in Burin. Her sister ship Centennial was stationed in Fortune.
This is a picture of my play school class in Rocky Harbour I think. It would have been in the early 1980's. I'm front first on the left and the only other person I know is Steve Huddlestone who is back row first on the right. Can anyone help identify the rest. I moved away to Ontario soon after this.
