The Friendly Jay
While home during March with my family we did some skidooing. Stopping for a mug up, the Jays approached and my daughter was amazed of how trusting the Jay was. I held the camera in one hand waiting for the Jay to take the bread. I used a Canon A610.
On our last trip home in March 2007 for some skiing, skidooing and ice fishing I amazed my daughter at how bold the grey jay can be. We took a lot of pics and were very lucky on some as you can see them in flight feeding from our hands. I held out a piece of bread and had the camera in the other hand continually taking pictures.
