Hayley Osmond knows it's a great idea to have that Wildflower Book of Newfoundland and Labrador when you're hiking around the Cape Ray seashore. You can spot a variety of flowers just about any place you stop there.
Our granddaughter, Hayley, at the Norstead Viking Village near L'Anse aux Meadows on the Great Northern Peninsula. It's a four-hectare site with a boat shed and a 54-ft. Viking ship. There is also a chieftain's hall, workshop and church. This is a must see if you're in that area.
