Insomniac
At night is the time
Where I can't sleep
And day is the frame
I think is a dream

Reality with dream
And sleep with awake
The day I can handle
The nights I can't take

Alone with my thoughts
My mind just erupts
Many thoughts to bear
My emotions corrupt

No distractions at hand
I am all alone
My feelings go wild
As memories are shown

Some good, some bad
Either way it's hard
Hoping on the past
Is like wishing on a star

An insomniac in the making
At night I will weep
Playing all my memories
The time there's no sleep.

The Moon
Just one glance to the sky,
just one to the big glowing moon.
And all my fears are gone,
and calmness is consumed.

I don't know what it is,
but it just makes me feel safe.
Kind of like I belong,
and that this is my place.

Why is this far away planet,
so significant to me,
I haven't landed on it,
it's just something I can see.

Night after night,
I gaze at that moon.
Up there in that dark velvet sky,
and yet I still am not immune.

Pact of a Pack
There's something about a wolf,
and when you look in their eyes.
You see a boldness, a truth,
so cunning, so wise.

They are so strong, so tough,
they will fight to the death.
For protection of their pack,
they will give their last breath.

How their pack shall grow,
and with every new birth.
A new cub will arise,
a new face to this earth.

They will grow strong and bold,
like their parents they will be.
And they will roam the earth,
with their pack, and be free.

A pack of wolves must know,
of a bond so true.
They stick with their pack,
through and through.

I know I can't sing,
I know I can't act.
I stay true to myself,
And that's a fact.

When things go bad,
I've got all my friends.
To help me through it,
Straight to the end.

Cause there

What I would give,
to be a kid again.
Where each day is fun,
and everyone's your friend.

There are no bills to pay,
no worries of money.
Where you literally run free,
and everything's funny.
