This picture is of the mallard duck. It's the drake and hen, or at least that's what my husband tells me! Just wondering....why is the female species always called the "hen?!" Oh, that's right; "Hen" means "BOSS!" LOL

This picture was taken Sunday, July 25th. There's a bird's nest in our tree. There were three blue robin eggs. Two little ones have hatched and now they are waiting their brother....or could it be a sister I wonder? Cheers, Bernice.
