Having both parents from Edinburgh, Scotland and having been there twice, while walking along the East Coast Trail on the northern shore just outside of Bay Bulls I came upon this iceberg and it reminded me of Scotland's famous Loch Ness Monster. Don't tell me, Nessie is frozen in ice at Bay Bulls!

Up Close and 'Inside' an Iceberg
At Flatrock, this was truly my first ever view of a large iceberg. On closer viewing, the blackish/brown line intrigued me; the colours were amazing but the "caves" appear to be the home for some type of ice monster. Silly, yes, but look at the caves, very sinister looking.
With the sun finally shining, it was a reasonably warm day given the time of the year. Debbie and I took a quick drive down to Blackhead to hopefully view an iceberg or two. What a surprise when we arrived! How many icebergs do you see?
