One day I overheard my four-year-old son, Lee, describing his favourite vegetables to his grandmother. Corn topped the list, with peas and carrots at the absolute bottom. "And I don't like green beans, either," he declared. "Brown beans are okay, but my favourite beans are jelly beans!"
