Downhome Radio Show

In 1990, founding editor of Downhome and his friend Bruce Roberts started the "Downhome Radio Show," promoting Newfoundland music and culture to CHIN Radio listeners in Toronto. The show eventually went on to broadcast in select communities all over Canada.

One particular caller, who gave himself the moniker "Phonse Fagan" was one of the show's regular and most beloved callers. Sadly, he has since passed away. Here is a short clip from one of his humourous calls.
